The Conception and the concept are closely linked.
In project management, the term "Conception" which describes the phase from brainstorming to planning a project.
The conception process deals with the desired project result and ways and means of achieving this result.
Conception phases
Once a project objective has been formulated, the search for possible solutions to achieve the formulated objective begins. A concept is the most precise possible description of a project process geared towards this goal. A distinction is made between two types of concepts:
- Rough concept: A rough concept describes the general Approach to a contract (often used in tenders).
- Detailed concept: The detailed concept is the detailed Schedule of an order. This is where we go into detail with a lot of love and targeted creativity (often after the order has been accepted).
