The story of You, who lets himself fall out of despair and is gently caught in love, is described by the New York Times as a "must-see" on any visit to Berlin. The fact that the new Grand Show in "your palace" is curated by Parisian star designer Jean Paul GAULTIER and made to sparkle magically by Swarovski are certainly two of the countless reasons for this.

For the first time, a Grand Show trailer is accompanied by a medley of the show's varied, gripping music, while a voice over from the emotional scene "The Poem" poetically sums up this message.
The result is a cinematic masterpiece, realized under the direction of brot & salz Creative Director Teferie Tafesse, captured in fantastic images and edited by DoP and Editor Tamino Zuch.

The show teaser for every new Grand Show at the Palast has its very own creative energy. Almost six months before the premiere, both the set and the costumes are still being created and cannot be put in front of the camera. So the question arises as to how the story of letting oneself fall, of people waking up from their emotional petrification and a happy ending in which love awaits the desperate, can be captured in artistic images.
With a poetic vision by Palast director Dr. Berndt Schmidt and the artistic craftsmanship of the brot & salz creative team led by Creative Director Teferie Tafesse, the feat was achieved. Produced by Omid Mirnour, captured by DoP Reza Norifarahani and edited by editor Farid Martin, the show teaser for "Falling | in Love" makes you want to experience up close what will be happening at Friedrichstadt-Palast Berlin from September 2023.
On October 11, we celebrated the brilliant world premiere of the show jewel FALLING | IN LOVE.
It was breathtaking and we were there with our cameras. A great audience and all the celebrity guests gave the Friedrichstadt-Palast the best applause in the world. Minutes of standing ovations and happy faces, thank you so much!

White is the absence of all color and for this very reason gives the imagination full freedom to unfold. The concept for the "Falling | in Love" key visual was the brainchild of Palast Marketing Director Natascha Lecki and the brot & salz design team led by Head of Design Chris Schöttmer and Creative Director Teferie Tafesse. In combination with portrait photography by Markus Nass and background detail shots and image editing by Thomas Beyerlein, this gentle declaration of love to the imagination and the awakening of true emotion in the eternal garden of love was created.
And anyone who knows the Palast knows that the key visual for the new Grand Show with its radiant grace will bathe the Berlin cityscape in poetic white for the next two years. In addition to an explosion of emotions and masterful dance and technical performances on the world's largest theater stage, "Falling | in Love" also guarantees a white Christmas in Berlin once again.
